1. Introduction
As a startup publisher with a digital-first approach, we utilize a combination of direct shipping and print-on-demand services to fulfill physical book orders, while digital products are delivered instantly through secure download links.
2. Order Processing
2.1 Processing Timeframes
Order processing times vary by product type:
- Digital Products (eBooks): Processed immediately upon completed payment
- Physical Books (In-Stock): Processed within 1-2 business days
- Physical Books (Print-on-Demand): Processed within 3-5 business days
- Merchandise & Other Items: Processed within 1-3 business days
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST may not begin processing until the following business day.
2.2 Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order. This email contains:
- Order number
- Order summary and itemized list
- Billing information
- Shipping address (for physical products)
- Estimated shipping date
2.3 Payment Processing
Your order will not begin processing until payment has been confirmed. For UPI/credit card orders, this typically happens within minutes. For other payment methods, processing may begin once the payment clears.

Xilvoraink offers several shipping options for physical products:
Standard Shipping

Expedited Shipping
- Domestic: 2-3 business days
- Carrier: Blue Dart, DTDC

- Best for: When you need books sooner
Express Shipping
- Domestic: 1-2 business days
- Carrier: FedEx, Blue Dart
- Tracking: Yes
- Best for: Urgent orders and gifts
Shipping timeframes represent estimated transit times once your order has been processed and shipped. Total delivery time includes both processing and transit times.
During holiday seasons (particularly November and December), shipping carriers may experience delays. We recommend placing orders early during these periods.
4. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping
4.1 Domestic Shipping (India)
Shipping costs for domestic orders depend on several factors:
- Selected shipping method (Standard, Expedited, or Express)

- Package weight and dimensions
- Destination pin code

4.2 Free Shipping Eligibility
Free standard shipping is available on qualifying domestic orders above ₹499. This applies to physical books and merchandise shipped within India. Eligible orders will automatically qualify for free shipping at checkout.

5.2 International Shipping Methods & Costs
We offer two primary shipping methods for international orders:
- Standard International: Typically takes 10-20 business days, depending on destination
- Expedited International: Typically takes 5-10 business days, depending on destination
International shipping costs vary based on destination country/region, package weight, and selected shipping method. Exact costs will be calculated at checkout.
5.3 Customs & Import Duties
International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping charges. Please check with your local customs office before placing your order.
6. Order Tracking

All physical orders include tracking information. You will receive an email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. This email includes:

- Link to carrier's tracking website
- Estimated delivery date

- Using the "Track Order" feature on our website

7. Digital Product Delivery
7.1 eBook Delivery
When you purchase an eBook from Xilvoraink:
- You'll receive an email immediately after purchase with download instructions
- The eBook will be added to your Xilvoraink library in your account
- You can download the eBook in multiple formats (EPUB, PDF) based on availability
- Download links remain active for 30 days after purchase
7.2 Download Limits
Each eBook purchase includes up to 5 download attempts. If you need additional downloads, please contact our customer support team.
7.3 Technical Issues
If you encounter any technical difficulties with your digital product delivery or download, please contact our support team within 24 hours of purchase. We'll work to resolve the issue promptly.
8. Pre-Orders & Backorders
8.1 Pre-Orders
Pre-ordering allows you to reserve upcoming titles before their official release date:
- Your payment method will be charged when the order is placed
- Pre-ordered books typically ship on or slightly before the official release date
- You can cancel pre-orders at any time before they ship
- Pre-orders may include special bonuses or discounts
8.2 Backorders
Occasionally, high demand may result in temporary out-of-stock situations:
- Backordered items will ship as soon as they become available
- You'll receive an estimated availability date when placing a backorder
- You may cancel a backorder at any time before it ships
9. Missing or Damaged Items
9.1 Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the damaged packaging and products
- Contact our customer service team within 7 days of delivery
- Include your order number and damage photos
- We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost
9.2 Missing Items
If your package is missing items:
- Check your order confirmation to verify all items were included
- Verify if any items might be shipping separately
- Contact our customer service team within 7 days of delivery
- We'll trace the missing items and either ship them or process a refund
9.3 Lost Packages
If tracking indicates your package was delivered but you haven't received it:
- Check with neighbors and building security
- Contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number
- If unable to locate, contact us within 7 days of supposed delivery
- We'll file a claim and send a replacement once investigation is complete

12. Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to receive my order?
Total delivery time depends on both processing time and shipping method. For domestic orders with standard shipping, expect delivery within 6-9 business days from order placement (1-2 days processing + 5-7 days shipping).
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Address changes may be possible if your order hasn't shipped. Please contact our customer service team immediately with your order number. Once shipped, we cannot redirect the package.
Why is my tracking number not showing updates?
Tracking information may take 24-48 hours to appear in the carrier's system. If your tracking hasn't updated after 48 hours, please contact our customer support team.
